New Year's Day - Sunday

The best way to start the New Year


I came back home at 2pm, I had a rest and then I started cooking for tonight's dinner. I had an invitation by few friends to eat something and play tombola.
I baked savoury mini-muffins with green and black olives, speck and fontina cheese.
And of course, I ate one of them!
Plus, I had other speck, fontina and radicchio sauce left-overs, so I used them to make lasagne: they were my first lasagne I've ever made to be honest. They were good!!
I ate at 6pm, so I don't know if consider that lunch or what else...


Dinner at my friend Luca and Chiara's place, after few rounds of tombola.
The highlight of the evening was the Pata Negra's Iberian Ham that Luca offered us.
I did liked the nuts sauce canapé as well and I was happy to eat cotechino, mashed potatoes and lentils: it's the typical food Italians use to eat on the New Year's Eve and I hadn't got the opportunity to eat that last night.

  2. Un po' liquidine ai lati, ma buonissime! Come prima volta non c'è davvero male! Anche mia sorella (criticissima) ha tessuto lodi!
