Thursday

Light breakfast with a tea and a couple of biscuits

I had a glass of prosecco with few friends to celebrate wthe International Women's Day
A friend presented us a lot of potato croquettes instead of bunches of mimosa as we traditionally do in Italy so we had a gourgeous happy-hour.
I was drunk at 2 pm.....

There's a market here in Pietrasanta on Thursdays: I couldn't be  bothered to cook today so I bought myself some skinny crispy chicken and roasted potatoes: it was my last night's heavy craving and I happily satisfied it.


Light dinner: just a slice of bread with a bit of prosciutto crudo. I was in a hurry to go to a party where I drank a very light rhum&coke.

Bad with alcohol, good (more or less) with food

Wednesday

Tea and biscuits for breakfast. No pic.
Quinoa pasta with vegetables and soy sauce. mhm. Nothing special.


 I had a 2 hours walk today. So I needed a snack this afternoon. 
Tea and bread with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper
Simple and yummy
I love it


 Stewed fennel with spices (it was disgusting) and scrambled eggs with vegetables
Than I had crackers with mayo...Ouch....
I force myself to stay indoors lately but hey: I keep on eating at home.

Tuesday

Having breakfast while gardening...with tea and chocolate biscuits


Matuffi with cheese (Matuffi are a recipe based on polenta) for lunch


 Mixed salad and kipper with I-don't-know-what-cream-is-it (dill and something else?)
And some chocolate afterwards


Monday

Tea, cookies and fruit 
I don't like fruit very much, but I like it in my breakfast 


No lunch because I had my breakfast very late
But I had a snack during the afternoon: infusion, cherry yoghurt with a bit of muesli
Look at my silly-coloured sock and my penguin slipper: yep, it was a lazy afternoon


Chicken hamburger, mixed stewed vegetables and salad for dinner


Another infusion and microwaved pop-corn during the evening, in front of the telly
Damn boredom...


Sunday

I had a sleepless night
When I woke up I had a huge breakfast with fruit infusion, a toastie and fruit salad. I also went to the bar's for a coffee and my plan of the day was to sleep all the afternoon long avoiding lunch.


But I couldn't sleep and the lack of sleep made me sad. I had a caloric lunch in the late afternoon.
Wuster and french fries


Even if I wasn't that hungry I had dinner very late at night (11 circa) because I was still sad and I needed some comfy food.
So cereals and legumes soup for me


I've been very naughty today, I feel all swollen...

Saturday

No proper breakfast because the Americano coffee I had at the bar was enough to make me full
But I had a copious lunch: pasta with broccoli, zucchini and philadelphia sauce


Pity I forgot my camera at home tonight...I went to the carnival of Viareggio and I had a nice fish fritto misto from @La Barchina
Fried calamari and shrimps sold from a little boat near the port

Friday

Tea and a bit of pizza left from last night.
I love cold pizza left-overs for breakfast


 Leek soup left-overs for lunch I wasn't that hungry...)
I avoided carbohydrates again


Salad with tuna and olives for dinner


Am I good lately, right? No skipped meals as before and I'm regular with my diet

Thursday

Muesli and milk. I crave milk and cheese lately. A lot.


 No lunch but a nice dinner instead. 
As I had no carbohydrates yesterday I made my first pizza ever.
It didn't suck, but I have to improve the dough and the oven cooking


Wednesday

Tea, cake, cranberry juice. Breakfast in the living room in front of the telly. For a change.


 Scrambled eggs with fresh baby spinach stewed in broth and garlic. Delicious. 
In addiction to a slice of plain focaccia and onion focaccia.
One of the best meals I had lately


 I had guests for dinner, all of them on the diet.
That's what I cooked: leek puree with croutons, baked zucchini stuffed with broccoli, onion, ricotta cheese with saffron and diet vanilla pudding (I had no time to take a picture)


Another diet day I'm proud of
